Dear Farris:

Last night. April 15. at the regular monthly meeting of
the Board of Directors of the Marion County Chamber of
Commerce all members present at the time of the motion,
presiding officer not voting, voted unanimously {or the
Chamber of Commerce to go on record favoring the loca-
tion of the turnpike on the Central Florida Route. ln taking
this action the Board was of the Opinion that it was in the
best general interest of Marion County that a toll turnpike
be constructed on the Central Florida Route.

There were 13 members of the Board of Directors present
and this recommendation is being sent to you with the re-
quest that you support legislation in accordance with the
above action.
