BE IT RESOLVED BY I! 30158 OF REPRESENTATIVES OF 11]! STATE OF MIDA:

Section 1. The Legislative Council is requested to sake a thorough
erasination and study as to the Present and iuture road needs of the
State oi Florida. setth of taxation and finance {or the contraction
and saintesauce of roads; and full study and investigation of the laws
or Florida. their adsinistratiou and their eectiveness relating to
the taxation oi sotor vehicles (or the use of the public roads.

Section 3. In pertorldng its duties hereunder said cal-ittee shall
have lull. access to the hooks and records of those attected and shall be
assisted when requested in all respects by the State Road Depart-est or

any other state agency.

Section 3. The said cosmittee shall report the results oi its
investilstions and study to the 1955 session at the State Legislature
together with an recouesdatious that it say rises propernnd beneficial
to the State of Florida.
