In talking yesterday to Woodward 3. Hampton, city
Iansger of larth Miami, I learned of an outfit that is
searching for a site for a nuclear power station in this
section of the U.S.
It is obvious that this clean source 6: power
would revolutionize and expand Florida industry along the
lines you spoke of during the campaign. '
Transporting the basic product to some point in
Florida could possibly be economically accomplished by barge
canal. Such material is already being accepted by common
carriers which have special safe-guard equipment.
The name of the firm seeking the site is the David-
son Chelical 00.5 Erwin, Tenn. All correspondence should be
addressed to Charles Runyon, General nanager.
The fins is a subsidiary of Grace Steamship. I
feel it is certainly something that is worth checking into
and, it brought to Florida, it would certainly be a feather
