Honorable Farris Bryant
P. O. Box 1773
Ocala, Florida

Dear Farris:

'Ihere are now less than three full weeks before the election
on Naveznber 8. d'hat we do during these crucial days will lamely
determine the Ration's course for the next .our years.

I believe the Democratic philosophy of gowrment meets with
the aproval oi the majority of American voters. Evidence of this is
increasingly discernible in all states.

I need not tell 1:01; that this campaign has been and will
continue to he difficult to the end. Your support or the national
ticket is essential if we are to win a popular verdict. As your
national candidates, Senator Johnson and I also wish to assure
you of our confidence in your mm campaign. we believe that your
efforts will be a contributing factor in achieving a solid Demo-
cratic maJority in the key administrative offices of the fifty
states and in the Cong-e88.

Let me at this time express my appreciation for your support
and my earnest hope that in January we shall have the opportunity
to work together, as elected representatives of the people, toward
achieving the goals to which the Desmorntic Party is dedicated.

with personal regard: ,

(AL

John F. Kennedy
