Dear Farris:

Thunk you very much for your letter or October 28, 1960.

I appreciate the opportunity to help you and the other
State Democratic candidates in the forthcoming election.
and let me assure you that we are doing out utmost to
assure the State Democratic candidates an overwhelming

victory in Okeechobee County. and the State of Florida.
I know that your election will assure a greater Florida

for the future.

In our campaign, we are concentrating on 'getting out
the vote'. We are working with several local organiza-
tions in Okeechobee County. including the Junior Chamber
of Connerce and the Young Dancereta Club, to assure a
large vote. which should be almost 100% Democratic.

we hsve run several advertisements in the local "Okee-
chobee News", and distributed literature in support of
all candidates. we are having sample ballots printed
and distributed. indicating to the people how to vote
a straight State Democratic ticket.

If ever I can be or any help to you in any any, I will
appreciate the opportunity to do so.
