December 16, 1960

The Honorable Farris Bryant
Governor-Elect, State of Florida
Post Office Box 1773

Ocale, Florida

My dear Brother:

Thank you for your letter of December 12th.
Under your direction, we shall be glad to arrange
for the private devotional service at the Church
prior to the Inauguration. You will want to sel-
ect the hour and those who would have part in the
service.

I have word, of course, from George and
anlon, both of whom will be here on Monday even-
ing.

As to those who would attend the service,
this will also be your decision. We, of course,
will give no publicity to the plan, as you re-
quested.

All of us are looking forward with eager-
ness to the Inaugural ceremonies and to the pri-
vilege of welcoming you and your family to our
church and our community.

Sincerely yours,

GCJ/cb
