60 Second TV Need of the Aged

Florida is a state with a soul. Florida cannot turn its back on
our mentally ill and pretend that the problem does not exist. As
your governor, I will advocate mental health clinics in all of our
large county hospitals for the immediate care and treatment of the
mentally ill. More beds must be provided in our state institutions
for the mentally retarded, too. we must modernize and expand all
of our health institutions to keep pace with the demands of our

citizens. The needs of the aged, the indigent and the handicapped

will be recognized and met.
