Perhaps you will be interested in the feeling theyre getting in
State Headquarters from their daily phone calls and letters from all over
Florida. They have a good vantage point ... And their view is Eggg good!

There's a definite feeling of victory all over the state. Our drive
for campaign funds is functioning beautifully. Some folks are meeting
their pledges and then even soliciting a few more dollars from their
friends. As you know, we're on schedule in that respect, and other camps
are beginning to growl. Not that we can let down on the job, of course,
because we're a long way from our completed budget.

Don't make the mistake of getting complacent about finances. We
have reported all of 225 contributions, but we don't know what reporting
system other candidates are using. Maybe, it's 223 "what's up front
that counts."

Our campaign is being managed on a budget. I have had the privilege
of working with keen business management on frequent occasions....but I
want you to know that Farris Bryant's construction of his all-campaign
budget and campaign operation plan, complete with policies and directives,

example of good business practice by an excellent administrator ... and
that's what good governors are made of!

It's no secret that the Bryant campaign is far ahead in county
organisation. we note opponents now engaged in the sort of thing Farris
was accomplishing months back. And this, I think, is typical of his
ability to plan well ahead ... another virtue Florida expects from its
chief executive....

Now. it's up to us. Farris is devoting his attention to campaign-
ing ... to lending yougll, throughout our beautiful state, all the assist-
ance he can render ... to speeches. public appearances, interviews, TV
and radio broadcasts ... to hours and days on the road, in the sky, and
on shoe leather from door-to-door. But he will not be by himself! ...

He ... you and I and all of us ... those in Ocala headquartern and
in every county headquarters from Pensacola to Key West, and from
Jacksonville to Naples will he by his side. We pledge our energy, our
midnight hours. our fullest cooperation and our drive to the ultimate
election of the state's "most honored, "most acclaimed" and "most
Qualified by far" candidate in Florida's history of fine governors....
