I'm. Dexter Douglass

The fact that Farris Bryant '1: crancbuenta lived here in Ilorida gives no
assurance he's likely to stay. But $1 of our next speaker's mt grand-
parents settled in Halton County in 1828. And it all resulted in Dexter

Donglasa . young Tallahassee attorney . and State Chair-an of the

'chncer D-ocrats for Bryant.

Libs Farris. Dexter is a Gator grad . got his law decree there, too. GI
ems, Kr. Duals-s was President of Phi Delta Phi, honorary legal fraternity;
Vice-President of Blue Key,- a Sign Delta Chi, honorary Journalism fraternity:
Consider of Signs h: President of Scabbard and Blade; and his none is in-

scribed in the University's Ball of Pale. . Of such Ian is the Bryant

Dexter Douglass is active in the Florida Bar Association. serving currently
on three oa-ittees, and he was a lube: of the Board of Governors oi the
Junior Bar Section . serves now as Chairman of the Practical Legal Edn-
cation Institute. His church is the Faith Presbyterian" in Tallahassee
which he serves as President of the Adult Discussion Group and as a teacher
of the Athlt bound Table Class.

Dexter can service in the Korean conflict as a First Lieutenant of Artillery
and also with the 7th Infantry Division as an Cbserver. But his service
record nae Iarhd with distinction is attested by nine separate decorations
and cannondations. Hr. Douglas has declined to provide us with the details,
so modesty is another of his virtues.
