The proupt selection of important Comittee Chairman in
each county is our inediate goal. In order to insure inediate
apread of the work load and procurnent of fine leadership. these
people should be put to their task of building their comittee personnel
as quickly as possible.

In recent viaita, I have found that some people who could
have been counted on to help us a good deal have already omitted
thnaelvea to other candidates in races other than gubernatorial.
Only quick action can prevent further loan of good quality people.

Of couree, I an not meeting that you sacrifice "qulity"
by main; juat anyone to couittee leaderehip in haste, but I would
deeply appreciate it if you could turn your attention to this element
of county organization. We will be sending out material of special
intereet to each of your conittee chairmen (copies to you) for their
particular intereat.

Therefore, if you will fill out and aend in the attached
report to me personally in atate headquarters by February 6th, I will
deeply appreciate it.
