Mr. Farris Bryant
P. O. Box 1773
Ocala, Florida

Dear Farris:

I just received a call from a cousin-in-law{frank Spar w, who
lives in Winter Haven. V
\

He called to advise that a great many citrus people in the Winter
Haven area are somewhat perturbed about your recent talk at
Florida Citrus Mutual, although he was unable to give any specifies.

His opinion was that you needed some advisors in that area who are
closely and directly associated with citrus so that you might have
the best advice available with reierence to citrus matters.

He made no suggestions for individuals who might fulfill this posi-
tion.

The informant was for many years the manager of the Florida State
Theater in Winter Haven until he got sacked for some political activ-
ity in a local campaign. the details at which i do not know. l also do
not know what ax, it any. he has to grind personally. but I do ieei

he was acting in good faith in calling me. I pass this matter along
to you for your information only.

Very truly yours,
I?
