honorable Farris Bryant
Ocela, Florida

Dear Farris:

I wish to add to the hundreds of thousands of your
friends my personal congratulations and those of the some
8,000 officers and men of the Florida National Guard, for
your oustanding victory in yesterday's primary election.

Your sympathetic understanding and active support
in the past of all just and proper requirements for the
maintenance and administration of the Florida National

Guard assures us that, during your administration as

Governor, we will have as our Couaander in Chief, an
understanding and sympathetic commander.

Permit me to add my personal happiness in your being
elected by the citizens of Florida to be our Governor.
It will indeed be a pleasure and honor to address you as

"Chief", after you assume your office in the Capitol.

Faithfully y rs,

H. C!
Hajor General
The Adjutant General
