v... -- .n:

June 28, 1960

Dear Mr. Bryant:

Thank you for your letter of June 17 offering
to be of assistance to us especially in regard to Chrysler

Corporation's option on property near the Cape Canaveral
missile base.

As you know, we obtained the option in antici-
pation of our being the successful bidder on the Saturn
contract, and since we did not obtain the contract, we
have no plans to exercise it at the present time.

In the course of our missile studies, we
have become well aware of the many advantages Florida
has to offer. and we shall certainly keep your fine state

in mind when considering possible future plant site
requirements.

Your efforts in connection with the Saturn
project and your very generous offer to be of assistance
to us in the future are very much appreciated.

Best wishes for every continued success,

Sincerely,

\

Mr. Farris Bryant \\ -_ I
