The Florida Democratic Candidates today held another in
their continuing series of meetings with their campaign workers
to lay out plans for the unified campaign leading to the November
general election.
These meetings haVe not been open to the press. Macy's
information is not given to Ginble's and we are not passing out
our campaign plane to our opponents. The light candidates will
be conducting the most agressive campaign Florida has ever seen
in a general election, based not on a tear of their opposition
but on a desire to have Floridians turn out in great numbers on
election day to make their voices heard beyond our boundaries as
they endorse the conserVative tern of state government for which
we stand.
The campaign will not be directed by a single candidate,
but by all eight candidates working together in the kind of hex-many
which will mark the next four years. The plans agreed upon here
today will be IIIIXIIXIIIJIIII revealed as they are implemented in
the weeks before the election.
