ELECiiON airway;



Julio and i are more grateful than words can express for the help
and friendship which has been extended to us from every section of

our state and from every segment of its population.

During the course of the primary campaigns, and in the months lead-
ing to this general election, I have set iorth a program which I be-
lieve will lead Florida to continued prosperity and sound growth.

The promises and pledges i have mahwill not be forgotten now that
the campaigning is over. Instead we will proceed with our full ener
gies and resources to implement them and to prepare ourselves to bring
to Florida government of the highest quellty proceeding toward the
highest goals. i am proud of my Democratic teammates and have con-
fidence that together we shall merit the support the people of Florida
have given us as we carry out their mandate. i hope for, and solicit,

the support of all Floridians in carrying out this tasit in the months and

years to oome.
