WHEREAS, the Democratic candidates for state offices have
Joined together in the interest of good government in Florida in
running a unified campaign as the Florida Democratic Candidates. and

WHEREAS, these Democratic candidates for state offices, namely;
Governor-Nominee Farris Bryant, Secretary of State-Nominee Tom Adams.
ittorney General Dick Srvin, Comptroller nay areen, State Treasurer
8d Larson, State School Superintendent 'fom Bailey. Comissioner or
Agriculture-Nominee Doyle Conner, and Railroad Commissioner 3d Hason,
have each demonstrated his ability to serve the State of Florida capa-
bly, energetically and efficiently, and

WHEREAS. they have adopted and subscribed to a Statement of
Beliefs dedicated to progressive yet sound and conservatiVe government

in Florida, and

IHEEEAS, it is the belief of the vast majority of the citizens in
the State or Florida that it is in the best interests of the State
to elect these men to office in November. and

HHEREAS. the does wholeheartedly endorse the
Florida Democratic candidates named above. individually and collective-



ly. and does approve the Statement of Beliefs to which they have sub-
scribed.

NOU, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Organization give active
encouragement and support. both as a group and through the individual
efforts of each member, to the election in November of the Florida Demo-

cratic Candidates for state offices.
