YOUNGER DEMOCRATS OF FLORIDA
FOR FARRIS BRYANT FOR GOVERNOR

P. 0. BOX 1773. OCALA, FLORIDA

1: MIN! WUGtAL (Home.
VICTORY IS 00351
May 6, 1960

The results were a big victory for Farris....uith a commanding lead
of nearly 10,000 votes. The campaign is Just beginning to hit it's
stride....and by May 24th, with a lot of work, we will have a winner
by a landslide.

the JayCee convention in Miami W88 3 big success for our Candidate.
Reports following the convention were excellent with many s person
saying that the conVention looked like a rally for Bryant and ick-
inson. With Dickinson now working with us, the JayCee groups should
be practically solid behind Farris. G. Andrew Spear, Hyatt end Harley
Brown, Kermit chle, the Daytona szCees, Vern billions, Gene Smith,
Alan Trash, and many other Younger Democrats around the state deserve
big credit for this success.

Tommy Greene and John Crider have "scooped" the other groups with a
day after election victory yell. The two Jacksonville men hsVe been
spearheading the compaign in Duval bounty....are now after the Burns
votes. The ladies committee will be busy phoning while the men are
back putting up posters, bumper strips, and contacting the key sup-
porters or the other candidates.

Happy Lewis, Jest Palm Beach, has promised to commit the entire Joy-
Cee group there. with Dickinson on our side, it's a pretty sure bet
that we will take Palm Beach County.

.alley Bluduorth, Panama City, should be pleased. We have the cam
paign managers of the Bay County McCarty, Dickinson, and Burns men
now on our side. Scotty Fraser, the young men who carried the county
for Dickinson, is an aggressive politician and will be I welcome addi-
tion to the campaign and the Younger Democrats.

Jerry Chicane, Orlando, has built a trailer so large (1A feet high)
that he's having I hard time getting it under telephone Hires. ann
the Orange County reSults it is obvious that he and John Pattillo
have had a successful campaign.

Be sure to conndt the supporters of the other candidates. If you
need ony assistance....i.e., literature, letters, etc....ju5t con-
, tact us at State Headquarters.
