Dear Mr. Gray:

Thank you for your letter of January
25, inquiring about political rate infor-
mation for your client Farris Bryant.

Our political rate to ageneya' ia our
national rate 84¢ a column inch. This carries
the usual 15$ agency discount. We have no
special requirements for political outaide
of cash with copy, and we require the usual

COpy of "paid political advertisement author-
ized by the campaign treasurer", or similar
copy to meet state law.

Our preaa is not eauipped to run a
tabloid section, but we would accept the
complete tabloid insert and stuff it On

our editions.

We do not usually condone discounts
for printing material or for complete sections
furniehed to us, because printing is our
hueinaaa. But since we would not be able
to turnieh a tabloid section we will allow
10$ after the agency discount in this case.
In other words if you decided to furnish
the tabloid aection, your actual cost per inch
would run 841 less 15$ agency commission then
10% from that total.

It you decide to furnish capiea of the
tabloid do not use the last ABC circulation

The nail Times

published Daily and Stndm
HEIDOUDNIE. HODIDA

figure for the number of tabloid copies

to furnish ue. Our county has experienced
a very repid erOItb 1n the last 2 yearn.
We would need 4400 ccpiee or the eectlcn
for Fur press run.

Sincerely,

THE DAILY TIMES
