To all Beauticians. Shop Owners and Sta:
The members of the Executive Board of the Florida Hairdresser's
and Cosmetologists Association do hereby place themselves on record
as having not endorsed the candidacy of Doyle E. Carlton. Jr. for the
oice of Governor of the State of Florida.
The letter which you recently received over the signature of "Eula
Fanguiaire. Special Director. F.H. C.A. was not approved by the
Executive Board. neither did the Executive Board have any knowledge
of the letter being mailed to the members of our profession. The
Executive Board has not and will not endorse any candidate {or the
oica of GOVernor of the State of Florida. This, it feels. should be
left to the individual choice of members of our profession. I urge
every Florida Hairdresser to please exercise your privilege of voting.
Again. we repeat, the letter that you recently received under date of
May 13th. l960, over the signature of "Eula Fanguiaire. Special Director.
F.H.C.A." on the ofcial stationery of the Florida Hairdresser's and
Cosmetologists Association, was not approved. authorized or endorsed
by the Executive Board of The Florida Hairdresser's and Cosmetologists
Association.
