Dear Mr. Gray:

I appreciate your letter of June 15th with reference to our mutual
friend, Farris Bryant. It is gratifying to know that the people of
Ocala are taking as much interest in the candidacy of this man as
we are trying to do in this community.

I want to assure you that Farris Bryant is well known and respect-
ed in this County and we have in the making a very strong organi-
zation which we are going to place the man in a contending position
in the next campaign. If there is anything th I can do at anytime
I want you to feel free to call on me.
