Dear Margaret:

He would so love for you and Jim to fly up some weekend to
spend a little time with us; this is no havens, but we can
provide run and rumba.

I have accepted an invitation to speak at the Torch Club
meeting of Jacksonville on Monday, March 10th, and with
Julia to spend the evening in the home of Hugh Bowling,

an attorney of that City. That means we won't get back to
Ocala much before noon of Tuesday, and should I leave that
afternoon for St. Petersburg t would be necessary for me,
while in that City, to find a new law partner. He is very
tolerant of me, so long as I spend only every other day out
of the office.

Margaret, I keenly regret this conflict, and sincerely hope
you will understand. Had I known a week earlier it would

have been my pleasure to accept.

Hy harem are all in excellent shape. The smallest fell
against the car radio controls and knocked out a tooth
recently, which has caused much suffering by her mother, but
the injured party doesn't seem particularly put out about
it.

If it is not too presumptuous of me, I would love to have
an invitation at some other time when it would be my
pleasure to accept. .
