Dear Bob:

Thank you for your letter of July 23rd relative to Bob
Collins. I shall certainly contact him the next time T
am in Tampa, which will probably in the latter part of
the second tee: in August.

I have not for a moment forgotten the ideas that you
expressed, or your suggestion that we get together
for luncheon in Jacksonville. The impossibility of
doing everything that I want and need to do alone has
kept me from following through.

I am glad you liked the Sarasota expression. I had to
give that story to two different reporters before it
finally broke through.

Tomorrow I am leaving for Port St. Joe, Panama City
and Pensacola. and Friday will be back in ( rlando.

While doing this and practicing law, I am conducting a
letter writing campaign that is running about 500 personal
letters a week. This letter is being dictated to you Sun-
day afternoon on m y forty-fifth birthday.
