I very much enjoyed the opportunity to know you which the
last session afforded, and regret that we did not have more
committees in common or that you, your lovely wife, my
spouse and I did not have more opportunity to get together
socially.
Hillsborough has every occasion to be proud of your work, and
I hope the good people in the exercise of their sovereign
discretion will see fit to return you for 1953. According to
the tribune there doesn't seem to be much chance of your
running for the Legislature again because of your other
political commitments, but I sincerely hope the tribune is
wrong.
Please stop by and visit with Julia end us at your conven-
ience, so that we can talk over our mutual problems or the
pest and plans for the future. I shall certainly be in Tempe
in the not too distant future and may aooost you under the
guise of e prospective insurance purchaser.
