Dear Farris:

I regret very much my inability to attend the meeting
called for last Saturday. We have a term of Federal Court
now in session here in ort Pierce, and therefore I could
not attend on Saturday. If at all possible, where future
meetings are scheduled, I would appreciate an earlier no-
tification so that I can arrange my schedule accordingly.

I have a memo from {gur office in connection with a resi-
dent of this area, Sheffield T. Abocd, who, inciden-

tally, is a client of this office and a personal friend of
mine. I will contact Mr. Abood in connection with your

campaign, and will also contact any other person in this
vicinity whom you have reason to believe will be interest-
ed. Incidentally, Mr. Abood has a brother in Jacksonville
operating a rather well known restaurant on the west out-
skirts of the city.

If you or your advisors are of the opinion that something
can or should be done in this area in connection with your
campaign, and believe that I can assist in any way, kindly
advise.
