Dear Bryant:

The last session, I am happy to say, seems a long time
away, but I have not forgotten nor shall I forget you:-
triendship and help when I needed it most. Partly be-
cause of that the session was a very satisfying one for
me, and only the pressure of new a living ran pre-
vented my writing you earlier or my gratitude.

It is my sincere hope that during the session ahead I
can show you in some small measure the extent or my
gratitude, and call on you for more help in doing the
Job you won rm- me.

As always you did a good Job for Franklin County and
Florida, and I hope and trust that the good people of
your county, in the exercise or their discretion, will
return you for '53 to omtlnue the good work. In the
meantime, please favou- me with a visit when you are over
thls way so that we can discuss our mutual problems of
the past and the conning session.
