Dear John:

We are trying to work with Ray Mason beginning now.
At the moment we are attempting to work out a date
for Julia and me to attend a party given by him for
the purpose of promoting financial support.

I like your thOughts on Jimmy Kynes and I am taking
the liberty of sending a cOpy of your letter to the
fellows in Miami who seem to have some doubts about
his ability.

Your Crestview meeting must have been terrific. I
am following up with personal letters to everyone you
indicated with an "X" and also to the others in attendance.

I am asking Jibb to work on the problem of a day in
Okaloosa County. and we will be in touch with you and
the Okaloosa County group at an early date. Julia will
make a special effort to be there.

I have been spending a great deal of time arranging for
the Miami meeting, and those that we have been able
to reach by telephone so far. the acceptance has been
100 per cent. I am so pleased. because some of the
peOple I have talked to I have never even met.
