Dear Farris:

Please pardon my delay in answering your letter

following your visit over here. but I have been traveling
so much away from home that l have not had but little
opportunity to talk with Son and the other boys. I haven't
been able to see Wendell at all, as both he and I have
been cut of town at wrong times.

Farrls, i don't know how to go into anything halfheartedly,
and if I am to cast my lot with you. which i have done.
naturally i want to help ln every way possible. There-
fore. if you wish me to serve in any capacity that could
help you let me know and I will be happy to do so.

One way i know i can assist you at this time is with

same Financial help, for I know you are having considerable
expense getting organized. I am pleasedto enclose here-
with my check for $l.000.00.
