The enclosed clipping appeared in the Tallahassee Demxorst
yesterday one I thought it might be of interest to you.

was in Stacy's office recently and while I was there I believe
I would be conservative in m number in saying he got ten
commitments for you over the phone. It looks like you, Doyle,
Dickinson and Caldwell as starters Just now. Let them keep
the voters guessing as to what they are going to do. we know
what Bryant is going tr do and every day they procrastinate it
looks like we are picking up a few. I 'm surprised at support
in some areas. Looks better every week.

En doubt Octobes bright blue weather will see the tempo
picking up considerably. Caldwell made the statement some
weeks ago that any candidate considering the 1960 race should

know something in August. Maybe he will let his intentions be
known very soon.

If I get down that way I'll drop by to see if you are in town
and compare some notes.
