rewards for me for my efforts in the Legislature. The
conviction which I have of your sincerity, your devotion
to the best interests of Bade tounty and Florida, the
intelligence with which you attack our com problems,
and your fine spirit in the battles we Joined, are a
constant source of satisfaction.

Further, I am personally very heavily indebted to you.
For a long time, and at considerable expense in time and
effort to yourself, you worked to make me Speaker, and
the success we achieved is in no small part due to your
efforts. You helped to win the Job-~now I am counting
