insurance erranizations of Florida hecause it is locally owned and
is composed of approximately fifty citizens of our state and has
been in business continuously since 1396. These facts are mentioned
solely for the purpose of stressing the extent of our interest in
good government and in proper representation of Florida's business
people.

We respectfully request, therefore, that you appoint Fletcher

lbrssn as a menber of both the Appropriatdons Committee and the
Insurance Committee of our State Senate for 1953. You will
undoubtedly agree that a successful businessman should be a member
of both of these important committees and that Jacksonville should
