Dear tarris:

I have for acknowledgment yours of the 21st and

I am very much disappointed that you were unable
to see George Hodges or Alex Brest. In checking
this morning I find that Alex Brest was out of
town unexpectedly on the morning of the 20th, as
he was today. I wee unable to determine
whether he overlooked mentioning your intended
visit to George before he left. At the first op-
portunity I have of talking to Alex I will deter-
mine what heppened. In the meantime my sincere
apology.

I am glad you had a visit with the several others
mentioned and hope that I will have the pleasure
of seeing you on your next visit to Jacksonville.
