My dear Farris:

I am sorry that I happened to be out of town again
when you spoke in Tampa, this time to the Kiwanis Club. It

so happened I was in Washington, not primarily dodging my
creditors but trying to pick up a dollar in order to satisfy

them.

I am enclosing comments from the Kiwanis Club
on your speech and 1 am sure you read like comments in the

local papers.
