I will not be with you Sunday. April 3. because
I think it best we avoid giving such anti-Northern papers
as the Tribune. Herald and News ammunition.

Indications are that you are making sound progress.
Your Statewide broadcast was well received.

If your finances are adequate you can win but you
are bucking big money in the Collins-Carlton combine.

l think it important that of each day between now

and the first primary that you spend sixteen hours campaigning
and eight hours in bed. Your finance committee should relieve

you of all rqponsibility for raising money. As I see the picture.

you will win or lose depending upon two things: (1) Sufficient
funds and (2) the devotion of all your time to campaigning.
