I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your personal
interest in my plane. and you know that 1 am interested

in yours and share the satisfaction you must feel {or the
record you have made.

My own plans are necessarily very indenite. It seems

to me that I wonld do well (or at least another year to
concentrate on doing this job the very best I know how.

in the meantime. trying to maintain my friendhhips in
Florida and to spend some time there as occasion warrants.
About next summer I would propose to gather with you and
some other friends to review my situation and make a
determination of what ought to be done. All of us at that
time will know more about the total circumstances. and
should we decide that it was time to act there would be

plenty of opportunity to do so then.

I would like to talk with you sometime soon to discuss other
matters germane to these considerations and insist that if
you come to Washington you let me know. because I want
you to stay with me while you are here.
