The luncheon that you and Julia ave was certainly a
delightful affair and I wanted you to know how ouch I enjoyed
it. we are all very proud of you and we all think you will
~ake Florida an outetandinr Governor.

I was led to hear you say that you plan to run a stronr
carpaitn in November and I do think it is necessary, particularly
in areas where Republican resistration is heavy. I hope that we
can get together and have a neetinp with some of the people in
our area in order to try to mt out. a larze Denocratic vote.
