Dear Ferris:

Just a brief note to tell you how
sincerely I enjoyed your inspiring talk at the
North Orlando Kiwanis Club, Tuesday the let.
Your type of thinking as shown by your speech
is the type of thinking that, in my opinion, is
essential to preserve this country as we have
known it. The internal affairs of the country
today should be of more concern to the peOple
than the total conditions of the world at large.
We must first gain and uphold for ourselves
those convictions of Freedom which we are trying
to hold out and bring forth to the rest of the
world. Your talk was one of the very few that
I have heard that did not hold out some specific
solution and I with many others, along with you,
feel that the situation at hand takes a thought-
ful and cautious attitude and is one that you
cannot at this time, unfortunately, bring about
a solution with one quick action.
