Dear Ferris:

Enjoyed Seeing you the other day when you were in
Tallahassee and am sorry we didnt have more time to
visit. On your next trip up this way, hope you will
stop by and see no, as I would like to discuss several
matters with you.

In the meantime. I hope you will recall that during

the Spenkership of Ted David, after you had looked into
the matter of printing considerably, end a firm from
Ocaln indicated they could save the state a considerable
amount of money by duplicating the bills in a different
fashion than we were printing them, that Ted (who was my
friend) took competitive bids_evon though the contract
was in existence to see if the state could save money.

I believe you will recall the Grain firm who had
indicated to you that there was something rotten about
the printing and that they couiu save a lot of the money
was the high bidder and our bid was low.

If you could recall this incident, when you are speaking
about printing to any oi our mutual friends, it would be
helpful. if L can be of any assistance in refreshing you
with the facts and figures, I shall be most happy to do so.

In the meantime, Charlotte toins me in sending our very
best regards to you and Julie and hepe we will have the
pleasure of seeing you in the not too distant future.
