Dear Farris:

Enclosed is an extract from the Times-Union concerning
the naming of Dinky Foerster as President-Elect of the local
Bat.

He would be my number one choice for a local campaign
manager. we tentatively sounded him out last time but
he was committed to Collins. He subsequently indicated
a desire to help next time although I have no assurance
whatever that he would be willing to undertake the
managership. He formerly served as Chairman of the
local Bar's public relations committee and was
responsible for the series of weekly television programs
which the Bar put on several years ago. he has also
headed the State Bar public relations committee.
