Dear Farris and Julia:
No sooner had you peonle left last Friday than a heavy
rain set in thus coolinr everythinr off to a temperature
roughly approximating the atmospheric conditions prevail-
ing in the land of paradise.
Enclosed you will find a clipping taken from Sunday
morning's paper. Please accept our grateful appreciation
for your annearinz before the associated Democrats. I am
sorry the crowd was not bigger.
I do hope that the two of you will return to Pinellns on
the nirht of November 6th and attend the hip barbecue in
St. Petersburg. He would love to have vou stay with us
as stated the other day. Should you fail to make the
meeting, you will be the only 1mnortant people in the State
of Florida not in attendance. The welcome mat at the Rowe
home is always out and for the people of distinction the
good Scotch will always be available.
