Dear Farris:

Your good October 12th letter arrived and I
am grateful beyond expression for its contents.

Like a punch drunk fi ter I do not know as
yet whether I will run for the ouae, the Senate or

retain my better Judgment and let the damm Republicans
do as they please.

I am wondering if you ever should have a
spare moment and solely when you do have a spare
moment, if you would detail five or six of the most
pressing matters which should be enacted into law by
our Legislature and your reasons therefor. Expression
from you and Tom Cobb would be most helpful to me in
preparing a platform next time, should I run.

I do hope that all goes well with you and the very
best to you and yours.
