I planned to cone down to see you but due to the {act I

have been away for some time as I took my wife '0 the hospital at
Durham N.C., and I have just returned so I have been quite busy and
still so, however since I was gone there have been several problems
come up and they need to be ironed out so I cannot get away.

How are you getting along and how is everything at the
ranch? I do hape that some time we can get away together and do a
little hunting, that is if you,can get away thst long.

I would like for you to speak to Farris Bryant and see
if he would consider our friend Edmund Eubanks for the post as
beverage Director I am sure that he is very well qualified for that
office and besides, he is a man from your community and a man who
is familiar hilh the {zoblens of the beverage industry. In the past
we hay had hdlk men, Ineurause men, hardware oen.,anyers and others
but not one man out of the beverage industry and that is that we surely
need. No this is no; too muvh to ask {tr as far as we are concerned
the Fusson Brotlers do not export anything from the Governor and we
shall never asx him for anything for we do not need anything as you well
know, so if if you 'ill give this careful consideration and put in a word

for Eddie Bubanks, we shall be Very grateful.
