it was nice to meet with you end your friends at John Taylor's
ranch By the way, while talking to Mr. Taylor, Saturday, I
asked him if he had heard From you. He said that he had not,
so if you havent written him a letter I would suggest that you
write him and also call him. You will agree with me that this

is very important.

be elected. In addition to that, i am surprised at some of the people

who are opposed to Doyle Carlton, Jr. running.

What do you think of a week from this coming Friday, having
Howard Frankland and some people like George Holtsinger and
other substantial people perhqn to the tune of 25 or 30, at my
ranch about three or four o'clock in the afternoon to cook some
steaks and have a chance to visit with them. These are people i
think are very inportant to have. If you want to enlarge on this,
we could have a few people from Pinellas County and also Manatee
or Sarasota County and Polk County and extend it to 35 or 40. We
need to get busy.
