Dear Jimmy:

I've thought man times about writing to you, and each time,

it seemed as if didn't know exactly how to say that which
was in my heart to say. I still don't know how to say how
meeting you that day on the road between Largo & St. ate

and hearing your sto and feeling the warmth of your con-
victions and seeing t e total abstinence of fear in your coun-
tenance....all of these things and many more too intrinsic

to commit to black and white left a lasting impression upon

me. I was delighted to hear about our work and this is a part
of that impression; but Just a part.

More than at any other time in my life that I can think of, I
needed a friend that day....and there you were.

Later I joined the Methodist Church in St. Petersburg and have
Just reigntly transferred my membership back to Ocala where I
now res e.

I hope and trust that you and your wife are doing and feeling
well. I had thought so many times, in the subsequent months,
that I would contact you and meet your wife and endea!br to
arrange for you to get another trailer if that was what you
wanted. These were good intentions which went the way of man
good intentions; however, if you have a need which I can supp y
at this late date, please write me here in Ocala.

If you ever return for a visit to Ocala, I hope you will contact

me.
