Since all of us are in service related elds:
you are serving the people of Florida. and

we are sewing the visitors to our ne state.
we are all well aware of criticism in its many
forms and therefore, it is always doubly pleas-
ing to receive a well deserved complimenn

Upon returning from a recent motor trip out

of the state. I was headed for Jacksonville

via U. S. 17, and decided to stop and enjoy one

of our state '8 finest features, the free cap of
orange juice and the friendly greeting to Florida
which is so vital to our tourist-oriented economy.

The Iielemne Station in Yalee was crowded and
"htmnning" but the two young ladies there never
lost their checrdncss nor did their greeting
falter as I observed them. In the process of re-
miesting a minor favor which was quickly and
willingly granted. I learned that the particular
young lady who served me was the daughter of

a County Commissioner from Miami. 0 Miss Sheila
Gordoni

Upon learning of her father's position. it seemed
only natural to find a nnin serving our state in

a variety of capacities. It is our feeling that not
only is she to be commended but also our Develop-
ment Commission for securing such high-type per-
sonnet, and since the indirect responsibility is
yours. we wanted to have you share our satisfaction
with one aspect of the tourist effort being made here
in FloridaY
