in order to further our plans for the Bryant Day celebration,
I wonder if you could meet with me for a dutch treat luncheon
at the 1890 House on Hednesday, September 2, at 12:00 o'clock
noon e

At that time it is hoped that we will have some specific plans
and proposals to accept or to reject. Friday, October 30, has
been accepted by the Chamber of Commerce as the date for this

event and this time seems to be satisfactory with the Governor.

If you can not attend the luncheon meeting, would you kindly

call Hrs. "Elton in my office (622-3126) at your earliest con-
venience. If, meanwhile, you have preliminary ideas that you
believe should be considered in relation to the celebration,
would you kindly communicate them with Mr. Boyles at the college
(also on 622-3126) as well in advance of the meeting as possible.
Mr. Boyles has kindly consented to bring the proposals together
in order that we may have an efficient agenda for your considera-
tion.

Your continuing assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
