Dear Farris,

I felt real bad that we were unable u: entertain
you and Julia. Unfortunately, I was in Detroit
on business for Al, and came home the night of
the llth, as we expected you on the 12th.

We Yankees are hospitable too.

If you and company had stayed in Al's office a

little longer, you might have seen some retty

girls. Sometimes I am surprised myself at what
emanates from that little suite. It frequently
takes me 3 hours to find a file.

Anyhow, A hope you will not consider what we
discussed earlier a dead duck. w; would like to
spend some time with you discussing various
positive aSpects. Please let us know when you
will be hack again--will you stop in New York

at convention time? If necessary, could come
down there and show you around, but would rather
work from home base first.
