Dear Governor Bryant. .
During your busy governorship you may
not have had the time to pose for your portrait that is
customarily painted for the Capitol. Perhsge now that you
are in your last term, you might care to give this matter
some thought.
One of the portrait painters I repre-
sent, Elmer W. Greene nairted your predecessor, Governor
Leroy Collins. Another, Fverett Raymond Kinstler, painted
the last three presidents of the Fla. State Senate. I
waild be glad to send you photographs of other work by
these artists.
Christian A. Herter, Robert Reyner
and Thomas E. Dewey are governors who have been painted
by three other artists on my list. And many political
figures have sat for their portraits by artists I represent.
among them were John F. Kennedy for the Spee Club at har-
vsrd, his father for the London Embassy, Herbert hoover for
the White House. Luther Hodges for the Commerce Dept. as
well as the N.C. Capitol, Thomas 8. Gates and George har-
shall for the Pentagon etc.
I would be happy to send you reproduc-
tions of portraits, some in color. by the different artists.
You would be under no obligation. Nor is their any charge
for my services and all fees quoted are the same as if you
went direct to their studios. The artist you choose could
come to Tallahassee if it is inconvenient for you to come
to New York.
Hoping I can be of assistance. I am,
Very truly yours,
