Honorable Ferric Bryant,
Notional Bunk Building,
Ocale, Florida.
Dear Ferric:

fhie ie in enewer to your recent letter concerning ny connittee
preference in the 1953 legislature. Enclosed plenee find your list
marked 1, 2, 3. 4, 5, 6 in order of reference.

Ihile I have no eynpethy with thoee who would deluge the intereete
and welfare of the people of thie state for the note of a tenporery
savings in expenditures, I do appreciate the need for canon eenee
economy, after toting e fer eeeing and comprehensive View of our needl.
fhece views were often elpreeeed during the epring primaries and thus
w firet choice would be the Aporopriatione Omittee.

For cone years I have been interested in the latter of Constitu-
tional Anendnente and the pceeible eventual adoption of a new coneti-
tutten. Therefore, I: eecond choice would be the Conlitte on Consti-
tutAOnal Amendments.

People in the eouth end of our county need a new Junior-Senior
High School. I have explained that the chancee for immediate construe-
tion thereof are enell due to the etate policy of not authorizing en:
new conetruction of that type until a certain number of pupile have
been reached in the area. However, if preeent etate-wide conditicne

warrant a relaxation of euch formla, I want to work therefore, and
no one of the Education Comitteee would be 17 third choice.
