Ocala. Florida

Dear Farris:

Thank you so very much for your kind letter of July 27th
and I. too, would like to be included among the group of
people with confidence that you will become a candidate in
the next Florida gubernatorial race in May.

Long before you and I had the Opportunity to become personal
friends, when you spoke to our Rotary Club at Treasure
Island. 1 had a high admiratiOn for you and have been in
accord with the pr nciples for which you stand.

You certainly are my first choice. and I will be most happy
to do all within my power to help you in this endeavor.

Y ure very truly,
