Dear Jud:
We were on our way. but we aimply didn't atart
our stretch drive noon enough. what really
killed us was the blanket the south Florida
papera put over us, with the constant repetition
in all their political and news columns that
Bryant didn't really have a chance, that he was
really Just running to get acquainted.
But there are no regrets, except for the trouble
I have put all my good friends like yourself to.
You know I ehall never be able to adequately
expreee my gratitude.
or course I an atill interested in the Citizens
Constitution Committee. I do not want to thruat
myself into an antagonistic position with the
governor's group, but I would be glad to cooperate
in any way that I can with the c.c.c. Just give
no the word.
Sincerely and gratefully yours,
Farris Bryant
